Accommodation on the Tsinghua campus in Shenzhen: around CNY 1,000/month for a single room; each student must pay a 2-month deposit plus a 6-month advance rental fee upon checking in at their dormitory; dormitory rent is paid every six months thereafter.

1.       Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport. According to Article 3 of the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China, any individual who was a Chinese national and then acquired a foreign nationality shall provide a Certificate of Cancellation of Chinese Household registration issued by the police station where the original household registration is located.

2.       Master's degree program applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree to a Bachelor's degree (or above) in China. Doctoral degree program applicants should have a Master's degree or an equivalent degree to a Master's degree (or above) in China. In principle， the degree diploma awarded by overseas universities should be authenticated by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange, Ministry of Education, China.

3.       Shenzhen International Graduate School accepts bachelor's degree holders to pursue doctoral degrees. Applicants must meet all the uniform requirements of the university, as well as the requirements of this school/department listed below: 1. The Minimum Requirement of Undergraduate GPA or Average scores:3.5/4 of B+ or 85/100；2. Chinese Proficiency Requirement: HSK band 4 with a score of 195 or above; English program applicants can be exempt from the HSK certificates 3. Non-native English speakers must meet the minimum English proficiency requirement: TOEFL:80/IELTS:6.5.

4.       Applicants should be in good health and of good character (meet the physical examination requirements stipulated by the country and THU), be well-behaved, and be willing to abide by China's laws and regulations, as well as Tsinghua's rules.

5.       The applicant's Chinese proficiency should meet the Chinese proficiency requirements announced by relevant programs in the 'Catalog of Graduate Programs 2023'. Some programs have specific requirements for applicants' academic performance, working years, etc. For relevant information, please refer to the remarks in the 'Catalog of Graduate Programs 2023' and the Admissions Guide of the programs.
