Neijiang Normal University

Neijiang Normal University is a full-time general undergraduate college run by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and under the jurisdiction of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education. It is located in Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, an important node city in the main axis of the "Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle". The school has been providing higher education since 1956. The school has a long history and profound cultural heritage. The history of teacher education in the school can be traced back to the official simple normal school in Neijiang County, Sichuan Province in 1905. Higher education began in the junior high school teacher training class in Neijiang, Sichuan Province in 1956. In 2000, Neijiang Normal College merged with Neijiang Education College, and the school was upgraded to a college. In 2021, the school moved to the new campus in Gaoqiao in batches. The location of the school is known as the "hub of central Sichuan, the heart of Chengdu and Chongqing", "the hometown of Daqian, and the hometown of calligraphy and painting". Outstanding talents such as Chang Hong, the teacher of Confucius, Zhang Daqian, the master of Chinese painting, and Fan Changjiang, the news giant, have emerged. It has a rich cultural heritage. The school ranks 372nd in the "Soft Science 2024 China University Rankings " , ranking among the top provincial universities of the same type . The school has rich educational resources and a complete range of disciplines. The school currently covers an area of 3,115 acres, with 920,000 square meters of school buildings, a collection of more than 2.13 million paper books, and teaching equipment with a total value of 256.4 million yuan. The school has 19 secondary colleges, 66 undergraduate majors (49 enrollment majors), including 16 teacher training majors , covering 10 disciplines in literature, science, engineering, agriculture, law, education, management, history, economics, and art . It was approved as a master's degree awarding institution in 2024 , and currently has two professional master's degree authorization points in education and agriculture . The school enrolls students from 29 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country, and currently has more than 20,000 full-time undergraduate students, international students, and graduate students.

The accommodation fees for students living in a double-bed room are set at 1,200 CNY per year.

The dormitory is very close to the educational building. And the inside looks like a medium sized hall with rooms, bathroom and kitchen on both side.

Living arrangements include access to essential amenities such as utilities (electricity, water, and heating), internet connectivity, and maintenance services. Other facilities like attached kitchen, refrigerator, oven, study areas are available as well.

The accommodation is situated close to campus facilities, which offers students convenience in terms of accessing classes, libraries, and social activities.

• The student must be 18 years old to apply.

• In the first year, the student will have study Chinese language. Students need to pass HSK Level-4 during their first year of study; if someone can not pass HSK Level -4 by the first year, however, if they pass University’s exams, they can learn one more year of Chinese Language. The cost of the Chinese language study will be the same as the first year.

• Bank Statement: A bank statement showing a minimum balance of 3,000 USD, as proof of financial capability to support your studies and stay in China.
