Neurobiology Program Overview
The Neurobiology program explores the complexities of the nervous system, focusing on the structure, function, and development of the brain and neural networks. Students study key areas such as neural signaling, brain disorders, neurogenetics, and cognitive function. 

Combining classroom learning with laboratory research, the program offers insights into how the brain controls behavior, sensation, and emotions. Graduates are prepared for careers in neuroscience research, healthcare, and biotechnology, or further studies in medical and neurological fields. This program plays a crucial role in advancing our understanding of the brain and its impact on health and behavior.

On Campus

There are four buildings specially arranged for international students:

1. Building 17 of Liuyuan (Building 17 Park of Willow), for students of short-term non-degree programs; 
2.  Building 2 of Heyuan (Building 2 Park of Lotus), for female students of degree programs; 
3.  Building 12 of Songyuan (Building 12 of Pine Tree), for male students of degree programs; 
4. International Student Hostel (East Campus), for medical students of postgraduate programs and medical students of undergraduate programs in the later stage. 

International students can choose different types of campus accommodation, a single room or double-bed room at different price levels. Usually, it will have all the facilities that you may need.

Requirements

• Candidate should be a Non-Chinese citizen, under 40 years old, the Bachelor Degree holder in the similar field, healthy, with non-criminal record.

• English language requirements: for candidates from non-English spoken countries applying for EMI (English Mediated Instruction) programs, their minimum IELTS score should reach 6.0 or TOEFL score reach83(IBT) (553 in written version or 217 in computer version), or equivalent.
